Polynesian-themed bayfront resort on Mission Bay, San Diego
Accommodations & Grounds
The resort offers rooms with balconies or patios, each containing a flat-screen cable TV with HBO and an iPod docking station. The Polynesian-themed grounds include tropical gardens, a duck pond, and an on-site bird sanctuary with Cockatiels and Cockatoos that give daily feedings and trainer talks from 10am to 3:30pm. Garden view rooms on the first floor overlook the duck pond and are close to the pool, game room, lobby, and Oceana Coastal Kitchen.
Dining
Oceana Coastal Kitchen provides waterfront dining with fresh coastal cuisine and bar service. The on-site cafe, Lava Java, offers coffee, tea drinks, and simple hot food items for quick breakfast or lunch. Guests can also order room service for meals delivered to the room.
Spa & Wellness
The full-service spa offers massages, including back massage and full body massage, plus beauty treatments and a steam room. The fitness center overlooks the water and contains Pelotons, though its hours follow the spa schedule.
